NEW WAVE MARINE’S rapid response team was out in the small hours on a ship spill clean up – at Purfleet Docks on the Thames recently.
The port is owned by the Cobelfret Group, and the 92 acre Purfleet Thames Terminal – handles over 250,000 trailers, containers and tanks a year including the import and export of 400,000 vehicles. The terminal has 2 ro-ro berths and is located 18 miles from Central London on the North bank of the River Thames.
Darren Negus, operations manager at NWM, said: “Our team was on the ship spill and worked intoto the small hours toto make sure the vessel sailed on time.
